A customised Wheelchair footplate that is designed specifically to suit you in your Wheelchair. Made out of 3D printed ASA, allowing a lightweight, strong, and fully customisable design.
Optional wings on sides to stop your feet from shifting position when on the footplate.
Specify your desired foot plate size, bolt locations, and any additional features.
A replacement for the quad set up on a bowhead reach adaptive mountain bike. This features a bar on the inside of the handlebar to stop your hand from sliding towards the centre of the bike. Directly replaces the stock lever, using the original bolt.
This adaptation has a nut embedded in the part, where the original bolt can thread directly into.

Who we are
AbleLab was founded on a simple belief: people shouldn’t have to adapt to equipment that wasn’t designed for them.
After sustaining a C6 spinal cord injury, I spent years working to regain my independence. Along the way, I encountered countless everyday frustrations where off-the-shelf products almost worked—but not quite. Rather than accepting compromise, I started designing my own solutions.
What began with a 3D printer quickly became a passion for engineering practical, customised products that genuinely improve everyday life. Every design is developed through real-world testing, prototyping, refining, and redesigning until it performs exactly as intended.
Today, AbleLab combines lived experience with engineering, additive manufacturing, and composite design to create custom wheelchair components and assistive products tailored to each individual. As we continue to grow into carbon fibre manufacturing, CNC machining, and smart electronic solutions, our mission remains the same:
